February 24, 2000: No new news to report. Sadly, earlier this month, Ilana's new show "Wrong Mountain" closed after only about a month and a half. I'll be sure to let everyone know about what Ilana's on to next :)

Info on Wrong Mountain:
David Hirson's "Wrong Mountain" opens at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on December 14 (Previews start December 3). Also stars Ron Rifkin (Cabaret) and Daniel Jenkins (Big).
The plot is described as:
"With touches of surrealism and hints of science fiction (a 40-pound, intestine eating worm and an intoxicating elixir called `lithia water' figure prominently in the plot), the story...concerns an utterly pretentious obscure poet [Rifkin], his ex-wife's new husband, a fabulously successful, lightweight playwright; a new-plays festival situated in the middle of nowhere, and the absolute horror and pleasure of unwanted, yet coveted, overnight success."
